Where do I file this form?

USCIS filing addresses depend on your form, your category, and where you live — and they change without notice. This tool takes you to the current official address for your form rather than repeating one that may already be stale.

We deliberately do not print filing addresses on this page. USCIS moves lockbox and service-center intake between locations, sometimes with little notice, and a package delivered to a superseded address is rejected and returned. Any address published on a third-party site — including this one — can be out of date the day after it is written. The only address worth trusting is the one on the official USCIS page for your form on the day you mail it.

What actually determines your filing address

Three things, and all of them can change the answer for the same form:

Filing online, where your form and category allow it, removes this problem completely: there is no address to get wrong, and you get a receipt immediately.

If you have already mailed to the wrong address

USCIS generally returns the package rather than forwarding it, along with the fee. The filing is treated as never made, which matters most when a deadline or a status gap is involved — the clock does not pause while the envelope travels. Refile at the correct address as soon as you have the package back, and keep the returned envelope: it evidences the original attempt date.

The address is one of several ways a package comes back

Wrong fee, missing signature, missing initial evidence, and an outdated form edition all produce the same result — a returned package and lost months. FormGuard checks a completed form against the rejection reasons USCIS actually applies.
